Privacy Policy
Effective 2026-06-21 · Beta
This policy explains what we collect when you use an account, why, and your choices. We collect the minimum needed to run accounts and discussion.
1. What we collect
Authentication data (your email address, or basic Google profile such as name and avatar if you sign in with Google) and the profile you set (nickname, one-line bio, interests). Discussion posts you write are stored with your account id.
2. How we use it
To create and secure your account, show authorship in discussion rooms, operate the service, and prevent abuse. We do not sell your personal data.
3. Processors
Authentication and the database are operated on Supabase (which uses cloud infrastructure such as AWS). Email delivery for sign-in links is handled by our email provider. These processors store data on our behalf.
4. Visibility
Your nickname, avatar and posts are publicly visible. Your email address and consent timestamps are not shown publicly. Access to your own data is enforced by database row-level security.
5. Retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account exists. You can request deletion at any time; deleting your account removes your profile, and your posts are removed or anonymised.
6. Your choices
You can edit your profile in settings, sign out at any time, and request access to or deletion of your data via the contact address below.
